K Bar M Farms is located in Ardmore, AL, just south of the Tennessee line. Kevin and Misty have four children collectively, Madelyn (not pictured), John Tyler (pictured with girlfriend McKenzie), Landon, and Kathryn Grace. We own AQHA horses rope horses, and occasionally have some for sale.

Kevin works as a plumbing contractor for mostly new construction. Misty Lou works in contracts, is a freelance writer and freelance photographer.

Kevin and Misty are adamant that they go roping as a family. Kevin’s biggest fan, next to Misty, is Katie. The highlight of her watching daddy rope is she always gets to ride his horse to the trailer.

Photography

Misty has been doing photography off and on for the public for about 20 years. Lately she has been just photographing close family and friends (and their pets), and grabbing shots from the sidelines of the roping pen. Being a mom has inhibited her ability to be as competitive in roping as Kevin, but with Katie getting older and wanting to ride and rope herself, her sidelines times are going to slow down!
